Arabian Horse:
The Arabian horse (also known as Arab horse) originated in the Arabian Peninsula. It has a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage making it one of the most easily recognizable breeds in the world. The Arabian horse is one of the oldest horse breeds. Archaeologists have found evidence that these creatures have existed more than 4500 years ago. The Arabian horse was traded a lot for increased speed, endurance, and bone strength. Now, almost every horse has some sort of Arabian blood.
The Arabian developed in a desert climate and were prized by the Bedouin people. They were often brought inside the family tent for protection and theft deterrent. Arabian horses have the ability of selective breeding, meaning that they can form cooperative relationships with humans creating a good-natured, quick learning, and willing to please. Additionally, they developed high spirits and alertness which was needed in a horse used for fighting. the combination of willingness and sensitivity requires the modern owners to treat these horses with competence and respect.
Arabians are a very versatile breed and dominate modern endurance riding discipline. They compete in many of today's equestrian events. They are one of the top 10 most popular breeds in the world and are now found worldwide.
Arab Hor is short for Arabian Horses. People would give their Arab Hor's nicknames according to their tail. One very famous Arab Hor's nickname was Scrunchy. That tail was as soft as a bunny and looked as though it was a giant sized bouncy ball. In the end though it became a world famous name all thanks to its bouncy ball like tail.
